What Is Kahwa?
In Indian spice and herbal tradition, "Kahwa" broadly refers to a warming spiced brew — a tea enriched with multiple spices known for their natural heat, fragrance, and depth. It is not a single fixed recipe but a concept: a cup that goes beyond plain tea to deliver something layered, aromatic, and purposeful.
Lakhi's Kahwa Green Tea is our own interpretation of this concept — a carefully developed blend of nine natural spices combined with super fine grade Northeast India green tea. Each spice is present as a natural oleoresin extract, fully integrated into the blend. The result is a cup that earns the Kahwa name: warming, complex, and deeply satisfying in a way that plain green tea simply cannot be.
The Nine Spices — Why Each One Matters
Every spice in this blend has a role:
- Saffron — golden warmth and a subtle floral depth
- Cardamom — fragrant and sweet, immediately recognisable
- Ginger — warming heat that builds gently from the first sip
- Cinnamon — sweet, woody, and grounding
- Basil — an earthy, slightly peppery freshness
- Clove — deep, intense warmth that anchors the blend
- Black Pepper — a clean, sharp finish
- Hing (Asafoetida) — subtle and digestive, a traditional addition
- Nutmeg — soft, warm, slightly sweet depth
Together they create a cup that is layered and complex — one that unfolds as you drink it rather than delivering everything at once.
All Natural — No Compromise
Every one of these nine spices is present as a natural oleoresin extract — concentrated, certified natural, and fully integrated. No synthetic spice flavourings, no artificial colours, no shortcuts. The ₹210 price reflects what genuine natural spice extraction at this scale actually costs — and what it delivers in the cup.
