Warm. Bold. Unapologetically Spiced.

What Goes Into Every Cup

Most masala chai blends use pre-mixed spice powder — convenient, but flat. Lakhi's Masala Chai is blended with individual natural spices: real ginger for warmth and a gentle heat, whole green cardamom for fragrance, cinnamon for sweetness and body, black pepper for a clean finish, and cloves for depth. Each spice is added at the right proportion — not too much of any one thing, but enough of everything.

The base is premium Assam CTC — bold and malty, strong enough to hold all five spices without losing its own character. The result is a cup that is layered, complex, and completely satisfying from first sip to last.

Why Natural Spices Make All the Difference

Artificial masala chai flavouring gives you the smell without the substance. You get the aroma when you open the pack, but the flavour fades in the cup. With real spices, it works the other way — the more you simmer, the more the flavour deepens. Lakhi's Masala Chai rewards a proper brew: give it 4 minutes on the stove and the spices fully open up.

The Monsoon Chai

Ask any Lakhi's customer what they reach for when it rains — the answer is almost always Masala Chai. There's a reason. The combination of warming spices and bold Assam tea creates exactly the kind of cup that makes cold, grey weather feel like something to enjoy rather than endure. Paired with pakoras or just a quiet window — this is the chai built for those moments.

What Makes This Lakhi's?

Lucky Tea Depot has been blending masala chai in Hyderabad since 1975. The spice ratios in Lakhi's Masala Chai have been refined over decades — not a formula from a supplier, but a blend developed through years of customer feedback and genuine care for the cup. Consistent batch to batch, packed fresh, delivered sealed.

THE ART OF

Brewing the Perfect Cup

Every cup of tea is a journey — from the mist-covered gardens to your teapot. Here's how we recommend you savour it.

01
Choose Your Tea
Select from our range of classic, flavoured, green, or royal infusion teas based on your mood.
02
Heat the Water
Use fresh, filtered water. Black teas love a rolling boil; green teas prefer 80°C.
03
Steep with Patience
Give your tea time to bloom. 2–3 minutes for black tea, 5–7 minutes for herbal infusions.
04
Savour the Moment
Pour, breathe in the aroma, and take that first sip. This is your moment of calm.
