Golden. Fragrant. A Royal Indulgence.

Why Real Saffron Changes Everything

Lakhi's Kesar Elaichi Chai uses actual saffron strands, the same spice that costs more per gram than gold. The difference shows in the cup: the colour is a genuine warm gold, the aroma is complex and natural, and the flavour has a subtle floral sweetness that no essence can replicate.

Saffron also has a long history in Indian wellness traditions — it is warming, mood-lifting, and deeply aromatic. A morning cup of Kesar Elaichi Chai isn't just tea. It's a ritual that feels like it's doing something good.

Why Whole Cardamom, Not Powder?

Cardamom powder available in market loses its volatile oils — the compounds responsible for its signature fragrance — within weeks of grinding. Before the Blending we Grind the  Whole cardamom at our unit and fresh Ground Cardamom powder is blended which retains those oils until the moment it meets heat. In every batch of Lakhi's Kesar Elaichi, the flavour releases fresh with every brew,

The result: a chai that smells and tastes alive, not flat.

The Base That Makes It Work

The saffron and cardamom need a tea strong enough to support them — something with enough body to carry the spices without being overwhelmed. Lakhi's uses premium Assam CTC as the base: bold, malty, full-bodied. It holds the spices perfectly, delivering a cup that is fragrant but never weak, flavourful but never overpowering.

What Makes This Lakhi's?

Lucky Tea Depot has been blending teas since 1979 in Secunderabad. Kesar Elaichi is our most gifted, most loved product — the one customers order for themselves and then send to family across India. The blend is consistent, packed fresh in airtight pouches, and delivered sealed so every cup you brew carries the same aroma as the first.

THE ART OF

Brewing the Perfect Cup

Every cup of tea is a journey — from the mist-covered gardens to your teapot. Here's how we recommend you savour it.

01
Choose Your Tea
Select from our range of classic, flavoured, green, or royal infusion teas based on your mood.
02
Heat the Water
Use fresh, filtered water. Black teas love a rolling boil; green teas prefer 80°C.
03
Steep with Patience
Give your tea time to bloom. 2–3 minutes for black tea, 5–7 minutes for herbal infusions.
04
Savour the Moment
Pour, breathe in the aroma, and take that first sip. This is your moment of calm.
