I remember the days when my sister and I would sit at the kitchen table, sipping tea with rusks, the warm aroma filling the room. We’d talk about everything - school, friends, dreams, and sometimes, just about how life was so simple back then. We’d always laugh about how our ‘tea rituals’ made us feel grown-up, even though we were just kids.
Today, as I sit down to share a cup of tea with her, I realize that those simple moments were the foundation of our bond. This Raksha Bandhan, let’s celebrate those little memories by sharing the same warmth, love, and of course, a perfect cup of tea.
HAPPY RAKSHABANDHAN!

Sipping Lakhi’s tea with my sisters and parents was a cherished ritual. We’d sit together, watching the steam rise from our cups, and share stories of our day. The warmth of the tea seemed to seep into our conversation, making everything feel cozier and more intimate, enjoying each other’s company. Those moments were precious, and I treasure the memories of our tea-filled times together especially with my dad.
The ritual continues till today with my mom, wife, sons and daughter in law …… and with my sisters whenever they visit.
Since the time Lakhi Tea Depot came into existence, decades back, it is our one and only go to shop for tea.
Not just because it is our extended families tea shop, it is our one stop shop for its rich taste, aroma, consistent quality….. and what a mood enhancer it is.
For me tea means nothing else but Lakhi’s tea ….
Lucky Tea,
Brings togetherness and makes you feel the simply best way of starting the day ..!
In the era of those nostalgic years as I grew, I made only a few handful acquaintances can’t even call friends. Soon to realise it was me being a teetotaller, is what attributed to this.
Then came an era in my life as the fondness of drinking tea grew quickly to see myself gathering some friends. That change snowballed into this current phase of my life where I have a friend saying cheers every evening over a cup of tea.
True….. Late night tea (bought from Lucky Tea Depot) with my sister during MBA entrance exams…. kept us mentally alert to focus and crack the exams.
Tea is not only refreshing part of life it is also connect people. It’s the mode of sharing thoughts like when unknown people meet at chai ki tapri . Beautiful content shared by lucky tea. Thanks for sharing.
